When Faj met 'Sharon'

28-11-15

On this date, Rachael was hanging out with her besties in a bar in Brighton and saw some sassy dude beeline for her across an empty dancefloor, bandana swinging out his back pocket left to right, like a tail... As luck would have it, Faj was also out with friends. One of which knew Rachael and so Faj spotting her across the room, asked his friend her name. With a few drinks already in the system, a foolish yet slightly overconfident Faj beelined towards Rachael with the now infamous one-liner "Hey, Sharon is it?" "Sharon is it!?" proved not to have worked for Faj... A hysterically dismayed Rachael had a big laugh at the name slip-up, of which Faj instantly pulled it back with an offering of a cigarette. Which Rachael took, and from here our story began. We spent the rest of the night talking through Rachael's dislike of Faj's trainers, our shared love for music, and much much silliness. Conversations haven't much changed 8 years on, but we've decided to accept our respective tastes in trainers, continue to prioritise cuddles with our fur baby Monty, and every day find more in common than we ever thought possible in a partner.
