In 2017, Emma met Faiz in New York, where she was attending Pace University as a collegiate athlete. The girl from Los Angeles would instantly catch the eye of the New Yorker while he worked as a bartender at Paulie's in Pleasantville, NY. In 2020, after several years of friendship and a magnetic, undeniable attraction, the two would finally begin their story at the very end of Emma's time in New York. Faiz then moved across the country to live in San Diego (and definitely not because Emma was returning to Southern California) where they would begin their life together. They have been there ever since, living in the sunshine with their two adored dogs, Jameson & Ginger.
