Bridesmaid
Faith is the most Christlike girl I know. She loves without judgement, serves without question, and lets her light shine in everything she does. To know Faith is to know joy. I couldn’t be more honored to stand by her and Thorp on their special day🤍

From the moment Faith and I met, it felt like we had known each other our whole lives. She has helped shape me into a better friend, Christian, daughter, sister, and person in more ways than I can count. Being able to show up for her the way she so selflessly shows up for everyone else is such a gift. Faithy, standing beside you on your wedding day is truly a dream! Thank you for choosing me to walk alongside you, not just today but in life. Thorp, I am always in your corner. I’m so grateful that God brought you and Faith together and that I get to have you in my life too. The love you share is so genuine, pure and beautiful. I feel lucky just to witness it. I can’t wait to celebrate you both for years to come, love y’all to the moon and back!

What an honor it is to stand beside Faith on the most special day of her life! Anyone who knows Faith knows she is pure sunshine. She brings so much joy, warmth, and love to everyone around her, and being her friend is one of life’s greatest gifts. Watching Faith and Thorp together has been such a joy, because Thorp doesn’t just complement Faith’s sunshine, he makes her shine even brighter. The Lords faithfulness is so evident in their love story and I have loved watching them grow deeper in love through college and into this next season of life. Faith, I am endlessly grateful for our friendship. You constantly challenge me, inspire me, and encourage me to grow deeper in my faith and in who I am. And Thorp, I feel so blessed to have gained such a wonderful friend in you as well. It is such a gift to celebrate the love you two share and the beautiful life you are building together!

Bless the random Facebook post we made six years ago asking if anyone knew someone looking for a place to live in Raleigh for introducing us to Faith. She is the type of person I want around for any major life event and everything in between: TikTok dances on a rainy day at home, going with me to a place she knows absolutely no one just so I’m not alone, and being there when I needed a shoulder to cry on. I am beyond thankful for our friendship and the person she brings out of me and everyone around her. Thorp is the perfect match for this wild child, and I couldn’t be happier for the two of you for finally tying the knot!!! Love you both!

Where do I even begin?! I truly couldn’t be more excited to watch Faith marry the love of her life and I’m beyond honored to stand beside them on SUCH a special day! I met Faith on a cold winter night playing pickleball when I had just moved to Wilmington and I was immediately drawn to her bubbly personality and infectious energy. She’s truly one of those people who’s never met a stranger no matter what group or setting she’s in. My favorite quality in her is the way she makes everyone feel seen, included and so genuinely loved. Faith has been there for me through my highest highs and lowest lows and she’s always been someone I can count on no matter what. Thorp already knows this, but he is marrying an absolute GEM and I can’t wait to see all that God has in store for their marriage!

To know Faith is to know Thorp, and to know them is to witness true partnership, commitment, adventure, and above all, love. They are both incredibly hardworking and independent, yet always make time to ensure the people around them feel valued and special. It couldn’t be more deserved, and I couldn’t be more excited to celebrate them and the beautiful life they’re building together. They inspire me every day to chase my dreams while enjoying the journey along the way. I feel so grateful to have grown alongside them over the past six years….and here’s to a lifetime more!

From the girl with camo bedding to forever friends, Faith has been one of the greatest lights in my life. She is the kind of person you want to call at 9 AM for a Cracker Barrel breakfast and a soda, the type of friend who makes even the most ordinary moments feel like exactly where you want to be. She walks into a room and instantly fills it with warmth and joy, and right by her side is Thorp, never once stealing her spotlight, just quietly making it brighter. Watching these two build a love rooted in the gospel and grounded in each other from such a young age has been something truly special to witness. And now they get to do the whole thing on an even bigger stage. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for y'all.

So grateful to have met Faith through these silly little Wilmington markets!! Our small businesses really brought us together, and there’s never a moment that goes by that we’re not having the best time. She is a constant joy and a true ray of sunshine in my life. Faith is the kind of person who makes every moment brighter, and I feel so lucky to call her a friend! I feel even luckier to stand by her side as she marries her perfect match, Thorp!! Watching the two of them together is so special, and I couldn’t be happier for them!!

I was first introduced to Faith and Thorp through my future husband, and from the very beginning I had a feeling that one day we’d all be standing in each other’s weddings. Our friendship has always felt effortless, as if we had known each other for years. Over time, I’ve had the privilege of watching their love story unfold through so many memories we’ve shared. From camping on Masonboro to our annual St. Patty’s celebration, always filled with laughter and the kind of energy that makes every moment brighter. They both have a beautiful way of bringing people together and finding joy, even in the simplest moments. I love them with my whole heart and feel so grateful to witness the incredible love they share on their special day. Time to celebrate future Mr. & Mrs. Smith!

Hi I am Julia! I met Faith in the summer of 2020, standing on the front lawn of our soon to be college house, and from that very first day, I could tell how special she was. I was lucky enough to become best friends with Faith over the two years we lived together in our house of six girls. Half of that time was during the pandemic when we were all stuck inside, so we obviously became conjoined twins. Sometime in these two years of bliss I met Thorp, and I truly could not believe lightning had struck twice for me. There I was, halfway through college, not only meeting one of my favorite people through a completely random roommate situation, but also finding out she had a boyfriend who I could laugh with just as much. Meeting one person as unique and special as Faith is rare enough, but meeting two people like Faith and Thorp and then getting to watch them love each other feels like a miracle. It clearly was not too hard for them to recognize in each other that same amazing quality, considering they have been together since the stone age. These two make me believe in true love. They remind me that soulmates really do exist. They are so comfortable with each other, but also they have never stopped dating one another. They always make the third wheel (me) feel more than included. And they know how to raise the heck out of a standard black poodle. Faith and Thorp, I love you both so much. I cannot wait to celebrate your once in a lifetime love!

Thorp and I met not long after we both arrived at NC State and it didn’t take long before our common love for the outdoors would bring us to become great friends. Fast forward to almost 5 years of living together it’s time for bigger and better things in life, and I couldn’t be happier for him and Faith! Some of my best memories over the years have come while chasing critters with thorp and sharing many highs and lows along the way. Friends like Thorp do not come around often and I’ll forever be grateful for our friendship. I can’t wait to see what the future holds and will be proud to stand by his side come October!

Thorp and I first met in 9th or 10th grade at a Florida Georgia Line concert at Walnut Creek, standing at Pole 3 thanks to his cousin Jack introducing us. From there, the rest was history. We quickly realized we had a lot in common, especially our shared love for fishing and hunting, which turned into a lifelong friendship. We eventually ended up going to college together and living together at NC State, making plenty of great memories along the way. Since the day we met, a big part of our friendship has been me doing my best to teach Thorp how to duck, deer, and turkey hunt—although he still seems to struggle to bag anything. To this day we still talk on the phone multiple times a week and have stayed close no matter where life has taken us. I’m honored to call him one of my best friends and couldn’t be more proud of him.

2009 was a relatively good and quiet year for Lafeyette drive. 2010 and beyond was a different story. This was the year Thorp and I met; rest assured no squirrel, tweety bird, or glass window was safe for many years in Wilson. After a few inept hunting and fishing trips, we became fast friends and while our worlds have changed, more has remained the same. We are no longer running around the neighborhood with pellet guns and bows; but we still talk nearly everyday and go on weekend adventures quite frequently. I’m extremely grateful to call Thorp one of my closest friends. Thorp’s positivity, laid-back attitude, and humor have left a trail, fair and wide, of people who care for him deeply.

Growing up with thorp as my second cousin never really felt like having “extended” family you’ve always just been like a brother to me. From going through high school and college together to now starting life as young adults we’ve shared a lot of life and a lot of memories. Seeing you find someone to share your life with is very special, and I couldn’t be happier for you both. I can’t wait to see what’s next and I’m happy that faith is apart of it.

Thorp and I met during our Freshman year at NC State. As a fellow Eastern North Carolina Native and Agricultural Business Major, we had to no other choice than to become fast friends. As the years went on, Thorp and I have became closer friends due to our shared appreciation of the outdoors and the friends that we enjoy them with. Thorp has always been someone I could count on to be level headed and laid back no matter the predicament we have found ourselves in. We have made many special memories spanning from Raleigh to the Coast over the past several years and I cannot wait to create many more with him and Faith.

I think I first met Thorp during move-in week at NC State. I walked into a friend’s dorm room at University Towers and there were a couple of kids in there I hadn’t met before. They all wore the same type of outfit and talked about being from some town they called “Wiltson”. I quickly realized that Thorp and the rest of his friends were somewhat of a different breed. I don’t think we actually became close friends until later in the semester when I got locked out of my dorm room, and Thorp let me sleep on his cold floor. Since then, we’ve always kind of ended up doing the same things with the same group of guys, and through that, I’ve had the opportunity to grow close with Thorp and be able to call him a good friend of mine. Thorps the friend you can always hang out with and pick right back up where you left off, no matter how much time has lapsed. He’s always invested in you and how you’re doing, making sure his friends are doing well, creating the perfect atmosphere for a lasting friendship. Through our shared love of the outdoors, our shared faith, and love of a good time, I don’t see our friendship fading anytime soon, no matter how spaced out our time may seem. I look forward to continuing to be close with Thorp and supporting him any way I can as he moves into marriage with Faith. I have no doubt that he’ll be a great husband and friend to Faith for as long as they live. Best of luck Thorpedo.

I usually tell people I met Thorp at NC State during a full sprint across campus chasing a rogue chicken that had apparently wronged him financially. In this version, he wipes out into a trash can, stands up like nothing happened, looks me dead in the eye, and says, “That chicken owes me money.” Naturally, I respect it, skip class, and we spend the next hour trying to track down a bird that clearly had the upper hand. It’s a great story. Honestly, it says a lot about both of us. None of that happened. We met like normal people—at State, in our fraternity, probably standing around pretending we knew more people than we did. No chickens, no chaos… at least not that day. Still, I’m glad it worked out the way it did—met one of my best friends. Congrats on getting married, man—grateful I’ve gotten to be a part of your life.

I’m lucky to call thorp not only my cousin but one of my best friends, and I’m Thankful to have grown up with someone like him by my side. We’ve been through every stage of life together — meeting halfway between Wilson and Raleigh to hang out back in elementary school, spending every summer weekend down in Morehead City during high school, and then ending up at NC State together for two years. I have created some of my best memories with thorp over the past 25 years and can’t wait to create many more. Can’t wait to see what the rest holds for us and pumped to have Faith as a part of the journey!

I was first introduced to Thorp through Thomas Moore back in 2015. In those early high school years, we passed the time the best way we knew how—fishing, hunting, and getting into whatever adventure we could find. A few years later I became good friends with Jack Barnes, Thorp’s cousin, and that’s when Faith and Thorp really became close friends of mine. We’ve stayed in touch ever since, and today our friendship is stronger than ever. These days, Thorp and I have been competing to see who can build the fastest “beater skiff” on the Cape Fear waters. I’ve cherished all the memories we’ve made over the years, and I’m looking forward to many more adventures ahead.

I first met Thorp through his cousin Jack, and for the longest time I actually knew him as “Fork” instead of Thorp. Years later, we reconnected at NC State and ended up living together, which is when our friendship really took off. He had me waking up at the crack of dawn to go fishing and hunting—things I didn’t know much about and definitely wasn’t very good at—but it was always a great time. We lived in the same room at the KA house sophomore year and then together again on Clark for junior and senior year, making some of my favorite college memories along the way. He’s always been someone I could count on, whether it was for a laugh or solid advice, and I’m grateful to call him one of my closest friends.

I’m incredibly grateful to have you as my new brother-in-law. From the very beginning, you’ve brought kindness, laughter, and great memories. It means a lot to see how much you care and the way you support the people around you, especially my sibling. I’m thankful for the bond we’re building and excited for all the memories we’ll share in the years ahead.
