We met as an imminent result of two friend groups colliding. Faith is high school best friends (self-proclaimed 'The Posse') with some of my best girl friends from my time at CU Boulder. As summer and winter breaks started to accumulate in 2017/2018/2019, Faith and I "found ourselves" at multiple mutual friend gatherings together...S/O to NYE 2k17, Rockies game, Christine's dad's Six Flags workday, and NYE 2k19.

After the infamous Jordan Anders' (now Rumsey's) planted seed and Jackson Elliott’s lingering questions (he doesn't remember this, but I do) following the NYE 2k19 party where Faith and I allegedly exclusively talked 'for multiple hours', it was only a matter of time before we started dating. Once Faith had made up her mind that being a nurse in North Carolina was only a yearlong gig, I had decided I was going to ask Faith on a date. The two of us dating each other, once a long distance dating improbability, would soon become a promising possibility. The following spring of 2019, Faith seemed to find herself flying back to Colorado multiple times for weddings, bachelorette parties, etc. Faith and I soon went on dates to link up while she was in town. From Super bowl/Golden hangs, ice skating at Evergreen Lake, to Lost Lake snow hikes with cupcake flavored goldfish, we began to vulnerably and amorously open up to each other. What was once an infrequent dating relationship peppered with weekly Monday night calls, turned into an exclusive dating relationship in the summer of 2019 when Faith moved back to Colorado.
