Our story began in 2019 at Lone Star High School. On the first day of class, I walked in, found a seat, and just so happened to sit right next to Peyton. From that moment on, our conversations took off—mostly about baseball, his job at Dick’s Sporting Goods (which he loved to hate), and the little things that made our days more interesting. We shared stories, laughs, and an easy friendship. But life had different plans. That December, I transferred to homeschool, and just like that, we lost touch. We still followed each other on social media, but our paths drifted apart. In 2021, I was living in Nacogdoches with my best friend, Hannah, while Peyton was attending SFA. When I was at an SFA football game I spotted him in the crowd. He didn’t see me, but something told me to reach out. So, I sent him a message on Instagram, just to say I thought I saw him. A small moment, a simple message—but at the time, neither of us knew it was just the beginning. Then, in March 2023, Peyton messaged me out of the blue. One message led to another, and before we knew it, we were planning to meet up. Our "first date" in April was one for the books—he didn’t think it was a date, but I knew better. From that day on, we’ve been inseparable, writing our own love story, one adventure at a time. And now, we can’t wait to start our next chapter as husband and wife!
