Just a few minutes from the venue, Narragansett is a quintessential beach town. The pier and Coast Guard Towers are some of the most iconic spots in Rhode Island. Take a walk down the beach and admire the Newport Bridge. Or stop at the Coast Guard House for a bite.
Stop by the Ocean House for a drink. Explore the harbor. Walk along the board walk and grab some ice cream. Or go up the hill, and down to the beach to see the Swift house!
Rhode Island has some of the best beaches in New England. Just don't tell anyone. East Beach is a favorite - but Misquamicut, Narragansett, and Charlestown Beach are all great.
One of the most famous places in all of New England, Newport is a great day trip. From Newport Harbor, the mansions and the cliff walk, you could spend a whole weekend there. Fair warning, the crowds will be at their peak in the middle of the summer.
