This all depends on who you ask. Morgan believes their first real interaction happened when they bumped into each other at The Max in Wayne in 2019, a year after graduating from Wayne State College. Faith, however, insists they had plenty of interactions during their time at WSC, since they shared classes and majored in the same field. Either way, on May 11th, 2019, Faith asked Morgan to be her girlfriend—and the rest is history! The couple will always be grateful to WSC and those Thursday night parties at The Max for bringing them together.

Morgan’s Proposal Morgan’s proposal was nothing short of classic and timeless. The couple planned a trip back home to Omaha to attend a friend’s wedding—though little did Morgan know, Faith had other plans for the weekend. The day began with a small gift from Faith: a wand necklace inspired by Harry Potter, Morgan’s favorite movie series. From there, the day was filled with all their favorite things—visiting their go-to spots around town, playing games, and enjoying drinks with their closest friends. Before heading to dinner and what Morgan thought was a friend’s get-together, the two stopped by The RiverFront park in downtown Omaha. It was there, by the water, that Faith got down on one knee, revealing a ring hidden inside a Golden Snitch—another nod to Harry Potter. After a joyful “yes!” (and plenty of happy jumping), they made their way to the “get-together,” only to find it was actually a surprise engagement party surrounded by all their favorite people. It truly couldn’t have been a more perfect day. Faith’s Proposal Faith’s first proposal was originally planned for June 2024, but when Morgan came down with an unexpected illness, those plans had to change. A month later, in July 2024, Faith finally got her moment—and it was nothing short of spectacular. The day was filled with all their favorite Colorado adventures, but this time with a twist. Morgan had created a series of clues that led Faith from one meaningful spot to the next. The day began with brunch alongside some of their favorite people, followed by a round of thrift shopping and an afternoon at the park with their pups. That’s where Morgan got down on one knee—with a little help from their dog, Bellie, who delivered a frisbee that read the big question. Thankfully, Faith said yes (because that would’ve been awkward!), and the day ended with dinner at their favorite seafood restaurant and a surprise visit from Faith’s mom. It was another unforgettable, joy-filled chapter in their story together.
