Our Story
Joe and Faith’s story began all the way back in 2006, when two first graders met and unknowingly set the stage for a lifelong love. From the very beginning, Joe had a soft spot for Faith. He’ll tell anyone who asks that he’s had a crush on her for as long as he can remember.
In the summer of 2018, Joe left for Coast Guard boot camp, marking the beginning of five long years apart. While many might have drifted, Joe and Faith only grew closer. Each place they visited became a landmark in their love story — reminders of weekends together, reunions filled with joy, and the bittersweet goodbyes that always made their hearts ache for the next hello. Every visit, no matter how short, felt like a treasure.
After years of long-distance love, a new chapter unfolded in Lake Placid, NY when Joe asked Faith to marry him. They’ve already built a foundation of love that has carried them through challenges and celebrated countless milestones — and they know this is only the beginning.
