When do things wind down for the night?

Answer

The venue requires everyone to be out by 11pm ET. If you need to Uber to lodgings, the venue is okay with vehicles being left overnight as long as they are retrieved by 10am the next morning. Note that Uber and Lyft will often bring guests to Laural Mill, but guests sometimes have issues scheduling to Laural Mill for pick-up.

When should I arrive?

Answer

The venue advises guests should arrive one hour prior to the ceremony's start time of 4pm ET. Parking is located near the road away from the front of the barn. Parking attendants will be on site to assist with parking and traffic flow.

When is dinner served?

Answer

Dinner will be served at 6pm ET. We will have tacos for dinner and cupcakes for dessert. Alcoholic beverages will also be available for purchase through the venue's bar service (silo located to the side of the barn).

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wear what you like! We just want you to be comfortable. Note: the barn is not temperature controlled. There are fans for warmer weather and patio heaters for cooler weather. We visited during a very hot summer afternoon and it was actually comfortable inside the barn. There are temperature controlled restrooms located in the barn.

Can I bring my pet?

Answer

Yes! The venue is pet friendly, however, pets are not allowed inside of the barn. They are permitted to hang out outside or on the covered porch and must be on a leash.
