It was a hot, summer day in 2018 when we officially met at the California State Fair where we were both there to compete with our shorthorn cattle. We had known of each other for years, considering we grew up competing against each other at this very show. You'd think Jared would notice the outrageous competitiveness of Faith at this young age and be deterred, but that's precisely when he decided to pursue her! Over the years, we fell in love. From dates spent checking the cows, moving hay and all the fun ranching activities, to the time spent in nature together hiking and exploring the coast and mountains, we learned to fall in love with the true partner that we had found in each other. We talked, laughed, and learned to support each other through the ups and downs of life. Eventually, Jared joined the United States Air Force and was shipped off to San Antonio, Texas for boot camp. Shortly after, Faith moved to Carson City, Nevada to begin nursing school. Then, the Air Force sent Jared to Spokane, Washington to complete a rigorous SERE training program of which he graduated in June of 2024. Following his graduation, Jared and Faith got married June 30, 2024 in Carson City, Nevada with both their parents present. Jared has since been stationed in Germany where they have gotten their first apartment together! Faith graduated nursing school and moved in with him shortly after. HOWEVER, we have yet to have a beautiful wedding celebration with all of our loved ones! We are so grateful to be able to share this special day with you all!
