The Cliff Walk remains one of the top attractions in Newport and the best part is that it's absolutely free. It runs for 3.5 miles along some of the most beautiful coastlines in all of New England. Much of it goes through the property on which many of the Newport mansions, including The Chanler are situated. Feel free to stop by and say hi!
The historic 10-mile drive is filled with picturesque views of mansions and endless coastline. Park your car at Brenton Point and enjoy the breathtaking view. Or head over to Scooter's World and rent unique speed bikes for just $7 an hour. TOTALLY worth the workout, you guys.

This 17th-century establishment is believed to be the oldest bar in America. Try a Rhode Island beer from a brewery like Narragansett or Revival alongside some New England staples like sautéed Point Judith calamari, beef Wellington, and butter-poached Rhode Island lobster.
Home of the first U.S. Open championship held in 1881, the International Tennis Hall of Fame includes a museum, grass tennis courts, an indoor tennis facility, and court tennis (or real tennis) facility. Tennis fan or not, you are welcome to wander the historic grounds or play a match at this popular attraction.
Newport's largest public beach is 3/4 mile long and offers daily rentals of beach chairs, boogie boards, and umbrellas. Relax and enjoy the white sand, cool waves and a ride on a beautiful 1950's carousel. It's also located right in front of The Chanler so please stop by and have a drink (or two)! Second Beach in Middletown is also worth checking out.
