Emily and I have been best friends since we were babies and have grown up together over the last 22 years. Throughout our lives, we have participated in countless ballet recitals together, gone on youth trips, three concerts, two Disney trips, and attended the same college! Our friendship is something that has always been a constant in my life, and I couldn't imagine not having Emily as my best friend. Her sense of humor, creativity, and brutally honest attitude are just a few of the things I love about her. Our humor may be seen as weird and we probably come off as annoying together because of how loud we laugh, but that's what I love most about our friendship! We have dreamed about the day that we would finally get to be each other's maid of honor at our weddings, and I'm so glad we finally get to make that dream a reality! Emily has always been like a sister to me, and there is no one else I'd rather have stand by my side as my maid of honor on my wedding day!
Maeve Walls

Maeve and I’s friendship is one that has developed more recently in the last few years. We both shared Emily as a mutual friend, so we had always known of one another. My junior year, Emily and Maeve became roommates at Bryan, so I began hanging out with them a lot in the dorm or at the caf. From then on, we developed a good friendship as we both shared a lot of the same interests and shared the same views on various topics. Maeve also began dating her now fiancé, Lyle, that year which was something we were able to bond over since we were both in relationships. Isaac and I had been together for two years at that point so I like to think I gave her some pretty solid relationship advice. ;) Maeve is definitely one of my closest friends today, and I’m so thankful for our friendship. Isaac and I also have a good relationship with Maeve and Lyle as we are all very supportive of one another and whenever we get together, our time is filled with nothing but good conversations and lots of laughter! Emily, Maeve, and I’s friendship is one that just makes sense as I think we all balance each other out well! I'm so thankful for my last two years at Bryan as I was able to make so many good memories with Maeve and build a closer relationship with her! I am so grateful to have Maeve standing by my side on my special day!

My other Emily in the wedding party is my cousin and one of my closest family members. My mom and Emily's mom, Tonya, are first cousins and they had Emily and I about a year apart from one another, me being the oldest. With us being so close in age and my mom and Tonya growing up more like sisters rather than cousins, Emily and I spent a lot of time together when we were little girls. From JCPenny's photo shoots to birthday parties to family get-togethers, we have grown up doing so much together. I can remember many times when we would play Barbies and have a wedding with them and would dream about the day when we would get to experience weddings of our own. Even though Emily and I don't spend as much time together as we used to when we were younger, every time we see each other, we just pick up from where we left off. We share a lot of the same interests, the two main being Disney and our love for history, hence why we are both history majors, and we love to talk about anything and everything Disney and history when we get the chance to catch up with one another! I can't believe we have gone from those little girls who would play wedding when we were little to finally being in a wedding of our own. I am so excited to have Emily standing by my side on my wedding day!
Caroline Dodson

Caroline and I met on our very first day of freshman year at Bryan in our communications class. At the time, I had a massive movie star crush on Tom Holland from the Spider-Man movies. I was wearing a beaded bracelet that had Tom's name on it, and Caroline just happened to sit beside me and noticed my bracelet. She said that she loved Tom Holland as well, and from there, we hit it off! We had lunch together that day, and I learned that she was also going to school to become a teacher, so I was happy to figure out that we would be having many classes together. We obviously shared a lot of the same interests and quickly bonded over those. She had just started dating her boyfriend, who she is still with today, right before school started, and I began telling her about Isaac and how I thought we both seemed to like each other, but I could never figure out if Isaac just liked me as a friend or possibly as his girlfriend. She assured me multiple times that she was sure he liked me as more than and friend and about two months into the school year was when Isaac officially asked me to be his girlfriend. Caroline was one of the first people I told and has always been so supportive of our relationship and a great friend to me! I cannot wait to have her stand by my side on my wedding day!
Claire Calbaugh

Claire is Isaac's cousin and I have known her for most of my life as we go to the same church, but I didn't become friends with her until 2018 when we were both in youth group together! When I met Isaac in January 2019, I remember telling Claire and a few of my other friends that I liked Isaac, and she was convinced he liked me too! The first time I went to one of his family get-togethers at his grandparents, I remember being so glad to see Claire there so there was someone I would already know. I think Claire and I get along really well because our personalities are similar, we're both kind of shy at first around people we don't know, but once we get to know them we're a lot more comfortable around them! Claire has always been so supportive of my and Isaac's relationship and has always made me feel really welcomed like I'm a part of the family! When describing Claire's personality, she is very sweet, smart, and has a caring heart! I am so thankful to have Claire standing by my side on my special day!
Brenslie Calbaugh

Brenslie is Isaac's little sister and is my last bridesmaid for our wedding. I met Brenslie when she was a freshman in high school, and now she is about to graduate as part of the class of 2023 and plans to attend UTC where she will be majoring in nursing to become an RN in the NICU. Brenslie has always been very welcoming of me into her family, and we both like to pick on Isaac a little every now and then ;) I am so proud of Brenslie for choosing to continue her education in college and for the strong young woman she has become during these last few years of high school. I am so excited to become her official here in just a few short months and I am so glad to have her as one of my bridesmaids, our wedding would not be complete without her!
