We went to check out the ceremony site the same week that a hurricane hit California.

Donovan invited me to visit his family's property in La Porte in 2018.

It's a place that has long been meaningful to Donovan and his family, and has become a happy place for myself as well.

We started dating in February 2018, after a very fortuitous match on Tinder.

Being long distance (with myself in SoCal and Donovan in Southern Oregon), we would plan trips together all across the west coast.

Whether it was a "Roaring Twenties"-themed ball in Portland...

...or a weekend jaunt to the Great Salt Lake...

...or camping with friends in Bend...

...or dressing up for a screening of "Rocky Horror"...

...or getting together to celebrate our friends' love in Yosemite.

Whether we're flying across the world...

...or staying right at home...

...there's never a dull moment.

It's a pretty cool thing to get to marry your very best friend.

The past six years have been full of love and adventure...

...full of joys and triumphs...

...and we're so excited to say "I do" to many many more.
