It is a Law to wear flats at all Ancient sights to preserve the Ancient sights from further erosion! If you where any type of heel you will not be allowed on to the ancient ruins.
Women must wear long flowing skirt, and shawl to cover arms. Vendors can be found on the streets; and some church's provide covers for travelers. Be prepared to cover up if you want to do a church visit!
Ferry rides to visit islands can cost anywhere from 25 euros to 40 euros....Stray away from the cheap Ferry's! A 25 euro ferry could be a five hour trip; where as the 40 euro ferry to the same destination could be a two hour trip. Cheaper is not always better!

Easy to use with a map. The metro is clean and new with only four major branches. There is no eating or drinking in the Metro beside water. The locals maintain the cleanliness of the metro and the same applies for tourists.
Public toilets can be hard to find, so be prepared to search. Also plumbing in Greece is significantly more narrow than plumbing in America. Making clogging a much bigger issue. If there is a trash bin next to the toilet use it even for toilet paper...or increase your number of flush's.

You will see that some restaurants have pictures on the menu or outside the door. The pictures look good, but they are tourist traps where the food is mediocre and high prices. So please avoid them.
