Question

Open Bar…?

Answer

Yes ! However, we will only be providing alcohol that is made in house. Please no outside alcohol allowed on property. For our ladies who are not beer drinkers, we will be providing daiquiris and frozé. Abita Brewery will be providing 35-50 different types of beer flavors on tap. Along with Rum made in house for our mixed drink option and Abita products. Please be respectful and mindful of our host’s policies. We understand most guests do not drink beers but we encourage everyone to at least try one or ask our bartenders what would be a good drink for you. Lastly, please don’t forget to leave a tip for our bartenders. If you have any questions or concerns regarding alcohol please contact us.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Since we are tying the knot at a brewery, we would like to keep this event an adult only celebration. As the Bride coming from a large family full of little cousins, this was a difficult decision to be made. We will have other gatherings that will be more family friendly for the little ones prior to the wedding. However, we have made a few exceptions for our honored wedding party members and out of state families. We hope you understand and enjoy the night off with us!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to the size of our venue and number of guests invited, we will only allowing guests that are in the bridal party a plus one date invite. Most of our wedding invitations will be personalized to each and every one of you. We have already accounted for certain family and friends to have a plus one. If you have questions about your invitation in regard to having a plus one, please do not be afraid to contact us. We wish we could provide enough for everyone to be invited however we are limited in our resources and space. We hope everyone understands our difficult request at this time.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes! Parking for both events are located in the same parking lot. Reminder, Abita Brewery will be closing to the public for our event after 4:45-5pm. You are welcome to grab a drink before our ceremony during public hours. Please no outside alcohol allowed in the reception area or ceremony space (beer garden). Remember no drinking and driving, thank you!

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

The best way to describe our dress code would be cocktail attire. We encourage ladies to wear wide based heels or wedges due to the grass terrain of our ceremony. Thanks to Louisiana weather we have no idea what the temperature or weather will be like until a week before the wedding. We want everyone to be comfortable and classy. Of course, bring an extra pair of shoes for the dance floor! Lastly, please do not wear white. We hate having to mention this; however, we have recently been seeing this at other weddings and would ask no one to wear white besides the bride and groom. Rain or Shine we will have a great time!
