In traditional Hmar culture, the bridal blessing is a separate ceremony focused on the bride. It is the community's way of giving away their daughter to the groom for marriage. It usually occurs a day or two before the wedding ceremony.

3. What if I can't make it to the wedding?

Answer

That is totally alright! As much as we'd love to have you there, we understand that because this is a destination wedding, not everyone will be able to attend in person. We would love for you to join us at our reception to be held in May 2026! It will be in Denver, Colorado. Details to follow!
