Where is the wedding?

Answer

The wedding will be held at Stonehurst at Hampton Valley located at 119 Providence Turnpike, Hampton CT 06247. There are two venues on site "The Mansion" and "The Barn" our wedding will be at the barn.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same location?

Answer

Yes.

What time is the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3pm.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

You should arrive 15-30 minutes prior to ceremony start time.

What happens if I am late to the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that if you are late please wait until the entire wedding party has walked down the aisle and quietly find a seat in the back row in order to not disturb the ceremony. We recommend trying to arrive at least 15-30 minutes prior in order to avoid this at all costs.

Will the wedding be inside or outside?

Answer

The ceremony will be held outside at the "Enchanted Forest" location. If in the event of inclement weather it will be held inside the barn which is where the reception will be held as well. Don't worry ladies! The enchanted forest location is paved so you do not have to worry about your heels sinking in to the grass :)

Where do I go after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony you can make your way inside the barn to the bar for our cocktail hour which will then be held outside under the tent. We kindly ask that you please refrain from taking your seat until cocktail hour ends. If you need to sit there will be plenty of chairs available outside.

Where do I park?

Answer

Upon arrival please follow the arrows that lead toward the Barn. From there the parking greeters will tell you where to go and a trolley will shuttle you down to the ceremony site.

Will you be providing any transportation/shuttle throughout the night?

Answer

Yes. There will be a shuttle bus to take you back to the hotel or to the afterparty from the venue after the wedding ends. You may leave your cars at the venue if needed they just need to be picked up before 11am the next morning.

What is the dress code?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal/black tie optional. Ladies can wear floor-length, tea length, or midi formal dresses. Gentlemen can wear a suit & tie. No jeans, skirts, or white! (Men's white undershirts are okay)

Are children welcome?

Answer

Unfortunately no. We love kids but we kindly request this be an adult-only wedding with the exception of the children in our wedding party. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

What if I can't find a sitter?

Answer

We're so sorry! Unfortunately this is still an adult only event. We understand this means you may not attend and we totally understand!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Unfortunately no. We are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name on the invitation. Thank you for understanding!

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes! Please enjoy drinks on us. Please remember to drink responsibly and tip your bartenders!

Will there be assigned seating?

Answer

The ceremony will not have assigned seating but we ask that you leave the first two rows for the wedding party and immediate family. We also ask that you please fill in the rows so that there are no empty seats. The reception will have assigned seating. Please take a look at our seating chart located in the cocktail area before taking your seat.

What colors will the bridal party be wearing?

The bridesmaids will be wearing a dark/forest green and the groomsmen will be wearing black suits.

Have you booked hotel room blocks for guests?

Answer

Yes. We have a room block available at the Holiday Inn in Norwich CT under Rheault/Dallaire Wedding. It is first come first serve. There is another hotel located directly across the street at the Hampton Inn. Additional hotels include the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriot and Hyatt Place. Will there be an after party?

YES! The after party will be held at Mohegan Sun Casino directly following the wedding. All are welcome!

Is there a theme?

The theme for the wedding will be enchanted forest. You do not have to dress according to the theme.

Can I use my cell phone at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you silence and put away your cell phones or other cameras during the ceremony. We hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture our wedding and trust them to get the perfect angles. We will be happy to share those photos/videos with you after the wedding! We want you to be able to relax, have fun and be present in the moment.

What is on the menu?

Answer

There will be lots of food to enjoy throughout the night! Dinner options are Tri-Tip Steak, Chicken Parmesan, or Baked Stuffed Shrimp. We will also be having a pizza food truck.

If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions please list them on the invitation.

Are there any other wedding events taking place over the weekend?

Answer

Yes! We will be having a welcome party Saturday night at Scorzz sports bar located inside the Holiday Inn Hotel in Norwich CT from 5-8pm, an afterparty directly after the wedding at Mohegan Sun casino and a send off breakfast/brunch for all those staying at the hotel.

Can I change my RSVP?

Answer

Unfortunately no. Once the final head count is in we are no longer able to make any changes.

What happens if I don't RSVP by the deadline?

Answer

Unfortunately if you do not RSVP by the date listed on the invitation we will have to mark you as "not attending." The reason for this isn't to punish anyone but for events this large our venue needs an accurate guest count in order to order the correct amount of food in time for the wedding. Thank you for understanding.

How do I get to the venue?

For guests traveling from MA and CT hop on 91, then take exit 35A onto I-291 East for 16 miles. Then take the I-384 E exit. Continue onto US-44E/US 6E

Yes. Any gift is greatly appreciated.

Are there things to do/eat in the area?

Answer

Yes. Mohegan Sun casino and Foxwoods casino are both around 30 minutes from the venue.
