Looking Glass Waterfall
Looking Glass Falls is about 12 miles west from The Penrose Airbnb, roughly a 25 min drive. No hiking is involved, you park and walk a short paved path right to the waterfall! It's along the highway 276 in Piegah National Forest, a perfect quick scenic stop or drive by during your free time.
Triple Falls (Dupont State Recreational Forest)
Triple Falls is about 6 miles west from The Penrose Airbnb, roughly a 10 min drive. It's a three tier waterfall with easy walking trails and many scenic overlooks. Its trails are well maintained and accessible for all ages, the views are supposedly unforgettable! Plan for about 45 - 90 minutes of exploration.
Downtown Brevard
Leaving from The Penrose Airbnb you'll take a 15 minute drive through Pisgal Forest to downtown Brevard to enjoy a charming town nestled in the mountains. Brevard Main Street has local boutiques, cafés, restaurants and breweries. Explore and come back to the airbnb for the reception and let us know what you loved.
