About 30 minutes from the venue. When I visited during my first Christmas with Matt, we went here for a date and it was a wonderful time. It is one of the largest indoor rainforests with so many beautiful plants. It also has activities like a zip wire, aerial assault course and a giant swing.
About 40 minutes from the venue. We went here once for a date and it was a lot of fun. They have fruit you can pick yourself, some farm animals out to see, and a wonderful restaurant with delicious food. We ended up using the fruit we picked to make Eaton Mess when we got home.
About 45 minutes away from the wedding site is St. Ives. A lovely town with shops and a beach.
This one is an hour away but a cool place to see. It is a woman made theatre perched on the rugged cliffs of South-West Cornwall. It was transformed from a Cornish cliff-face into an open-air arena. The views from it are beautiful. There is also an exhibit along with the theater explaining it's history. This theatre is about 5 miles away from Land's End.
About 43 miles (about an hour) from the wedding venue, but another place with beautiful views.
Located about 2.2 miles (10 minutes) from the venue. Something to do more locally/not far to get to.
About 10 miles (20 Minutes) away from the venue. Dog Friendly All Year. One of Matt's favorite beaches. There is a pub directly on the beach called The Watering Hole.
About 2.5 miles from the venue site.
1.5 miles away from the venue site. A fun activity like miniature golf, but with footballs (soccer balls for the Americans).
Recommended by Matt, Rowe's Cornish Bakers has really good pasties. Order medium or large steak pasty.
