Ryan and Dana met how most people meet these days- through a dating app! After going on countless dull first dates with people they had met on Bumble, they were both at a stage where dating took a back seat to their children and their careers. When Dana saw Ryan’s profile, she noticed his kind eyes and smile, and could feel his warm energy through the pictures. She noticed that under his profile, it said, “Looking for my best friend- I know you’re out there.” When Ryan saw Dana’s profile, he saw a genuine, inviting smile that melted his heart. He noticed she was in the field of education and also a mother, which was comforting and relatable to him. Upon matching, they spent over a week messaging and talking on the phone with excitement. Dana had shared with her brother that she knew she was in love before even meeting Ryan; he laughed at her claims, but she insisted and maintained that there was something extremely special about him. They couldn't wait to finally meet in person. The first night that they were both kid-free, they met for sushi and drinks, which quickly turned into hours and hours of talking and laughing.
