We're Getting Married!

September 30th 2017 will forever be etched in our hearts and have a significant place holder in our lives. Our story starts with a semi random encounter at The Comedy Store in Los Angeles, CA. Our mutual friends, Kendra and Barrett, were visiting Ashley in LA. On that special Saturday, they invited all of their local friends to attend a comedy show. Barrett extended the invite to Cameron and sent him the link to purchase tickets. To Cameron’s surprise when he clicked the link all of the tickets where sold out. He told Barrett that he would not be able to make it, not knowing he was almost going to miss out on meeting his forever love. Later that day Cameron tried the site again and tickets were available! At the comedy show we ended up being seated next to each other. Ashley, being the talker that she is, carried the conversation asking Cameron many questions. After the comedy show, the whole group went to a nearby rooftop bar where the conversation continued. We learned that we were both from NC and talked about our experiences while living in LA. By the end of the night we had agreed to go on a hike together later in the week. In the following weeks, we started hanging out more frequently. By December, we realized our mutual love for traveling and began taking our first trips. One of our most memorable trips was a weekend visit to Catalina Island. During our time there, we realized that there was something special between the two of us and that we wanted to continue spending time together. We were enjoying getting to know each other, letting our guards down and allowing ourselves to be open and vulnerable. From then on, our journey continued, we traveled the world, explored the crevices of happiness, persevered through painful moments and loved on one another on levels that we’ve never loved before.
