When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by 8/1/25 if your response is not received by this date we will assume that you are not able to attend

When should I arrive at the venue?

Answer

Seating for the ceremony will begin at 5:30 so please arrive then. All guests should be seated by 5:45. The wedding will start at 5:55 and late entrance is not permitted. It will be a short ceremony so if you do not arrive in time you can meet us afterwards for the cocktail hour at 6:20 followed by dinner and the reception.

Where should I stay in Chicago?

Answer

We are getting married in Evanston which borders northern Chicago. We will have a block of rooms at a couple hotels in downtown Evanston (listed on the travel page) which are within walking distance of the wedding venue. Other hotels in the Chicago area will also work.

When should I book my room by?

Answer

Please find a place to stay ASAP as the Northwestern University homecoming football game is the same day as the wedding so rooms may book up quickly. Hotels with room blocks will release the rooms one month before the wedding.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We kindly ask that you do not bring children to the wedding in Evanston unless invited. There will be an open bar so all guests must be over 21. Kids are welcome to attend the family ceremony in Covington, KY.

You will see any plus ones listed when you RSVP. Please reach out if you feel this is missing.

Is there parking for the ceremony/reception?

Answer

There is a paid parking garage called Church Street Self Park at 525 Church St that is across the street from the venue. It is $6 for 3-5 hours, $10 for 5-8 hours or $18 for overnight parking. Parking is free on Sunday.

Is there a welcome party and am I invited?

Answer

Yes, the welcome party starts at 7pm on Friday at a bar in the Logan Square neighborhood of Chicago called Park & Field. If you are invited to the wedding in Evanston, you are invited to the welcome party but there is no obligation to come. Please let us know if you can make it either way when you RSVP.

Can I take photos?

Answer

We will not have a photographer at the family ceremony in Kentucky so guests are encouraged to take photos. We will have a professional photographer at the wedding in Evanston so we ask that you refrain from taking photos during the ceremony.
