Cafe Du Monde is a famous coffee and Beignet shop of New Orleans since 1862 . There are several locations throughout the New Orleans area. However, if it's your first time eating a Beignet, I would suggest you take a trip to the French Quarter and enjoy coffee and Beignets, at Cafe Du Monde in the New Orleans French Market. It's located on Decatur Street across from Jackson Square. The Beignets are square French-style doughnuts, made to order and served hot and covered with powdered sugar. They are delicious! You can enjoy an early breakfast, take a walk in the French Quarter and Jackson Square and then catch a short cruise on the Steamboat Natchez right down the street.
Take a cruise down the Mississippi River on the Steamboat Natchez. There are several cruise packages to chose from, such as the Harbor Jazz Cruise, the Sunday Jazz Brunch Cruise and Dinner Jazz Cruises. You will park and board the cruise from the French Quarter area.
