Our Story

I never truly believed in the “invisible string theory,” that two people are destined to be connected long before they realize it, until I looked back at our story. As most of you know, David and I started dating in college, but what many don’t know is that our lives have been quietly intertwined since the very beginning. We were born just ten days apart, and I’ve always liked to think that God took those ten extra days to make me just right for him. From being the first babies baptized in our home church to attending the same preschool, middle school (even sharing a 7th-grade science class), and high school, we were always orbiting each other without realizing where that invisible string was leading us. It wasn’t until our sophomore year at USF, sitting side by side in college classes and carpooling together, that we finally became inseparable. From applying to schools together to celebrating every milestone hand in hand, we’ve cheered each other on, grown side by side, and laughed through it all. Looking back now, it’s clear that the string between us was never invisible. It was simply waiting for the right moment to pull us together for good. And now, on February 7, 2026, we get to tie the knot on that very string and begin the rest of our forever, perfectly tangled, exactly where we were meant to be.
