Warren is the Bay Area’s top pickleball player—self-proclaimed, but we don’t argue with confidence. I’ve known this elite athlete since high school, and he’s as approachable as he is competitive. His dream? To one day open a banh mi and boba shop (a combo we fully support). If you get the chance, ask him to serenade you with his heartfelt cover of “My Heart Will Go On” by Celine Dion. Fun fact: the best man and the maid of honor are actually a couple!

Fahmida met Priscilla in graduate school and it was love at first sight (for Fahmida at least). Fahmida and Priscilla hang out together on weekends playing pickleball, making fun of each other, hugging, dancing, eating and making tea. She is the quickest one to get drunk but also the quickest to sober up and go back to being ultra amazing and responsible. Everyone is always in awe of Priscilla’s actions and achievements. Priscilla might just be a magical mermaid - it would explain why she will jump into a pool as soon as she sees one or why she loves turtles so much!

I’ve known this guy my whole life — he's my brother, and also a professional bully (my cousin and I can personally vouch for that). Fun fact: despite being the older sibling, he’s actually shorter than me — something I never let him forget. But what he lacks in height, he more than makes up for in charisma and boldness. He’s one of the most adventurous people you’ll meet, with travel stories from around the world that range from wild to unbelievable. Share a drink with him, and you’ll quickly realize: this guy has no limits.

This gal is one of Fahmida’s oldest friends from Los Angeles. They share embarrassing but gorgeous pictures dating back to 8th grade! She is successful, gorgeous and incredibly supportive. Elvia is good at basically everything! She loves to try out new foods and cook during her spare time. If you love Matcha, you have to ask to see Elvia’s pictures and ask for her recommendations for the next time you are in LA!

My college roommate — affectionately known as “Tony the Tiger” (not for her stripes, but because she tends to flake!) — is one of the chillest people you’ll ever meet. Over the years, she’s always been down for anything, whether it's a spontaneous road trip or a midnight snack run. Her favorite comfort food is sopa de fideo, and she's surprisingly skilled in African dance — there might even be a video out there to prove it. Oh, and if you ever get invited to one of Berenice's parties, clear your calendar. She throws unforgettable gatherings that show you what a real party looks like. Nabila is Fahmida’s cousin who is like a sister to me! Fahmida wishes she didn’t leave her to go sizzle with hotness in Texas but nothing has changed. She is the kindest, most fun and uplifting person out there. She’s passionate about her opinions and always ready for a good debate! On the other hand, she will make you laugh with how dumb her jokes are. If your plate of rice is taller than hers at the wedding, you’d earn some mad respect.

My favorite person from the 626 (okay, the only one I know—but still a decent person). He’s invested more in pickleball paddles than most people have in their 401(k). Elvin is a die hard warriors, giants, and 49ers fan. One of his top hobbies? Staying home. Fun fact about Elvin: he does not like food that's chopped up.

Kelly is our quick moving gal who went down the pipeline from S.F. to NYC. She loves to travel, music and food. Jason has seen her check in to popular eats in S.F. on Yelp a plenty and gives her shit for going during work. Fahmida and Kelly love going to fun artsy and themed events together! She is down for anything, a great leader and always there to lend an ear or a hand. Kelly is also ripped. She’s the type to joins run club and work out on vacations.
