Spring 2017 - we both swiped right. After a few weeks of texting, Kelsey took the risk and asked Evan to happy hour. We met up at the patio of Garage Bar off of Brady Street in Milwaukee and by July 4th Evan decided to make it official at Summerfest.

This park holds a special place in our hearts. A typical weekend at home with a nice day we always try to get down to walk the park along the water with the dogs. One of Kelsey's favorite memories in our relationship was a week before Evan left for work for a year. It was an abnormally warm day in winter and we thrived on remembering that day through the long distance.

Saturday morning and the weather was beautiful. We had plans to go downtown later in the afternoon to watch the bucks game and meet up with a few friends to celebrate Evan's birthday. For some reason, part of me decided to get dressed for the day right away down to curling the hair and painting my nails. Thank GOD. At the end of the walk we found a spot along the shoreline to take in the beauty. As I looked over to him, he got down on one knee and I screamed "Yes!"
