Trey was a senior in high school and worked at the Trailer Repair shop across the street. Peyton was a good friend of Trey's and they constantly hung out and worked on vehicles together in Treys dad's garage. Peyton's girlfriend Lekse was good friends with Tori at Western Kentucky and was Toris next-door neighbor in the dorms of PFT. Lekse came to see Peyton one night at Trey's father's house and asked Tori if she wanted to tag along for the ride. Trey met Tori for the first time in the garage of his dad's house (she was absolutely stunning, the most beautiful girl he'd ever seen) Trey politely asked her to hang out, maybe hit a mud hole or two in Trey's truck that him, Peyton, and his father had built from the ground up. Tori reluctantly went along with his antics. After ripping up the field a time or two all four of them went inside to hang out and talk, when it was time for Lekse and Tori to head back to WKU the two of them headed back to the car. Trey quickly grabbed a napkin and a pen and wrote his name and number down for Tori. Trey walked outside to say goodbye to Tori like the gentleman he is, and gave Tori a hug and slipped the napkin in her hand. Tori texted Trey later that night and that was the beginning of their beautiful life together.

Tori was a freshman at WKU and was slowly getting to know all the girls that were living in her dorm. She met a couple of girls who lived two doors down from her dorm room that were from White House, which coincidentally wasn't too far from her home in Hendersonville. A few months into the first semester of her freshman year one of these girls, Lekse, had texted Tori saying she was having boy troubles and wanted Tori to ride with her back to White House so she could work things out with her boyfriend. Tori agreed, hesitantly because she "hadn't washed her hair in like a week" and was "hungry", but she went anyways. Tori waited in Lekse's car for over an hour until Lekse came back to the car and told Tori to come inside to meet her boyfriend, Peyton. They made it to the garage and went inside, and that's where Tori met Trey for the first time. Throughout the night they played with baby goats, went muddin', and got to know each other. Peyton and Trey walked with Tori and Lekse back to the car and as tori was saying bye to Trey, he hugged her and handed her a tiny rolled-up napkin in her hand with his number written on it. Tori says that when she first saw trey she knew he would be important to her, but she had no idea what their future held.
