It all began with the flick of a finger and a swipe right. Fadi was wrapped in a burrito blanket and Kim was snuggled up next to a dolphin. Kim was the first to make a move, "What's your favorite theme park?" Though Fadi thought Kim was playing hard to get, she was in fact just terrible at texting. Eventually a first date was planned and they met at a brewery to share their love of beer. One prefers a hoppier beer than the other (can you guess who?!). At Orange Hat Brewery, they found a commonality: their love of games of which Kim dominated that night (and still continues to)... From there their relationship blossomed and Pippa found a new favorite human. Many more dates were to follow and Kim did get better about texting back.
Cameron Natour's (Best Financial Advisor & Groomsman) Graduation - where Kim was introduced multiple times as Fadi's girlfriend but they hadn't DTR yet. Fadi had planned a special trip to Chattanooga the next weekend where he was going to ask Kim to be his girlfriend but alas the surprise was ruined. Fadi then asked Kim in the car on the way home, where she said "yes" for the first time :)
It was a cold, brisk Saturday afternoon. Fadi and Tony had worked at the restaurant that morning then we drove down to Chattanooga for the weekend. We got ready for a delicious dinner and then took a stroll in the courtyard full of train-cars, skating rings, and piles of snow. Kim knew the engagement was coming. The day before Fadi told her not to break a nail while lifting a box. Fadi wasn't trying to give anything away... Kim is just clumsy. Kim could tell Fadi was nervous, so she decided to throw a snow ball at him to make him laugh but nothing made us laugh harder then a Tony Natour appearing out of the corner of our eyes sprinting across the ChuChu courtyard because he "locked himself out.**" Kim's mom told Fadi she wanted a video reaction of the proposal so Fadi of course had to wait for Tony to sprint back with the room key. The next time Kim turned around Fadi was on one knee asking, "Will you marry me?" and Kim said "YES!" They enjoyed an amazing dinner and danced the night away (after calling their family and friends of course!) **Tony was actually decorating the hotel room to celebrate our engagement after dinner which was how he got locked out in the first place
