Brazil Entry Requirements for U.S. Guests
Important: U.S. passport holders are required to obtain a Brazilian eVisa before traveling to Brazil. We strongly recommend applying well in advance of your trip to avoid any delays. Apply at Official Brazil eVisa Portal. Important Information • A valid eVisa is required for U.S. citizens traveling to Brazil for tourism. • Applications are completed entirely online through the official portal. No consulate visit is required. • The current government fee is approximately USD $80.90. • Processing times may vary. We recommend submitting your application at least 40 days before departure. • Your passport should be valid for the duration of your stay and contain the required identification information requested during the application process. • Once approved, please keep a copy of your eVisa available during travel. Airlines may request proof of a valid visa before boarding your flight to Brazil. Our Recommendation Please apply for your eVisa as soon as your travel plans are confirmed. Waiting until the last few weeks before departure may create unnecessary stress if additional documentation is requested during processing
