They are an online dating website success story! Meeting on Match.com Hence their wedding hashtag being #FABulousMatch19 Charissa had been off and on different dating sites for a few years. Had some prompting from a few friends/coworkers to get back on and try again, so she did. Corey hadn't been on long, some friends had encouraged him to give it a try, so he did. He was given the advice to wait for a message, as it might be more genuine from the other one, instead of him messaging first. But, Corey saw Charissa's profile and was so intrigued by what she had to say about herself and her beliefs that he ended up sending her the first message. She responded, also being intrigued by his profile. They talked off and on, (finding much in common) for barely a couple weeks before their first meeting. Which coincidentally happened to be at a Dunkin Donuts. 😂 They continued talking and went out on their first date, not even a week later. Only after a few more dates, they decided to made it official on August 30th. And the rest is pretty much history! Cool side note: When Corey and Charissa had met her parents for dinner for the first time, it was discovered that he was the nephew of the pastor that had formerly pastored at the church her dad is currently pastoring! Couldn't have been a coincidence!
