Sheryll Dominic

Matron of Honor

My sister Sheryll is the kind of person who lights up a room and makes everyone laugh, often at her own expense. When we were younger, we used to be practically attached at the hip, even though we had our fair share of arguments. When we’d argue we’d say to each other “You’re not going to be my maid of honor anymore!” I’m happy to say that neither of us can use that against each other anymore! Sheryll, you are someone who is often thinking more about others than yourself. You are compassionate, generous, and I look up to you more than you realize. I couldn’t imagine anyone else standing right next to me on this special day.

Louis Fabrizi

Best Man

This guy is like a brother to me. Ha! Seriously, I couldn’t have asked for a better brother. He has always been a role model for me, somebody I look up to and rely on for advice on a consistent basis. In the last 5 years or so, I’ve watched our relationship shift from just being brothers to friends, and for that I am grateful. I stood right next to Louis on his wedding day, I think it’s time he returns the favor! Louis’ beautiful family includes his wife, Summer, and their 6-month old son, Everett. I’m thankful for you, brother! Thanks for being a part of this special day. I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Summer Fabrizi

Bridesmaid

Summer has been a huge role model and source of encouragement to me over this last year. She is a compassionate, gentle, and very genuine. The times that we’ve spent together have been filled with sweet conversations of understanding, encouragement, and grace. Going beyond the last few years of friendship, I am so looking forward to the rest of our lives as family. Summer, I’m so eager for what is to come and to be able to tackle it all together as sisters. Thank you for coming alongside us through this journey.

Renju Dominic

Groomsman

Renju is married to Sanya’s sister, Sheryll. Renju is easily one of the nicest guys you’ll ever meet. He works hard to provide for his family and never really asks for anything in return. This past month, Renju and Sheryll bought a ping pong table for their basement. Little did we all know that we’d spend hours every night learning how to do all the fancy spins and hits that would land us in the 2018 Ping Pong World Championship in no time. Ha! Renju, you are a great friend and I’m thrilled that you will be a groomsman.

Gwenn Luwis

Bridesmaid

Gwenn and I pretty much met when we were planning for our gap year missions trip together after high school with Emily. When we left for the trip, we barely knew each other, but as the months went by, we realized we had about a million things in common. Since then, we’ve talked almost every single day, and she has been one of my closest friends that I can count on for support, encouragement, understanding, and honesty in any situation. Gwenn, you have no idea how much your friendship has meant to me over the years and I’m so thankful to be able to walk through this season with you by my side.

Jared Pelfrey

Groomsman

Even though Jared lives in Michigan, we’ve managed to stay just as close as if he still lived right down the street like when we were kids. One of my fondest memories with Jared is when we would ride our bikes up to the baseball field in the middle of July to have a homerun derby on the little league field. Afterwards, we’d grab lunch at Burger King and go home to play some Xbox. Those were the days. Jared resides in Michigan with his wife, Erica, and two dogs, Barney and Lane! Jared, thank you for being a constant friend throughout the years, we’ve been through a lot together and this day wouldn’t be the same without you.

Victoria Charry

Bridesmaid

Victoria and I met officially through our small group at JMU. Since we were both biology majors at the time, we had quite a few classes together and grew very close freshman year. Some of my favorite memories I have with her are late night talks, laughs, and cries in my dorm room about Jesus, life, school, embarrassing pictures, and many other things. Victoria, you are such an amazing listener, you always seem to keep me laughing, and your joy and support mean the world me in this exciting season.

Brian Long

Groomsman

Brian and I have been close friends for years. We met in the youth group at my church and instantly became friends through a shared love for baseball. Throughout the years, we’ve spent countless hours at the baseball fields, often in 90 degree weather. There was a season when Brian and I both lived in Lynchburg, and although we didn’t have the opportunity to be roommates, he made my transition to Lynchburg an easy one. Brian, you have no idea how much it means to Sanya and I both that you will be a part of this special day.

Emily Holsinger

Bridesmaid

Emily is one of my oldest friends. We met at church years ago, and we grew to be very close friends. After high school, we went with Gwenn on a gap year mission trip and spent 8 months abroad together. Then, we even went to JMU together for a short period of time. Emily is someone I have stayed close with for many years. She helped me get over my fear of animals (ironic, I know), and she was the first person I went to the day Joey and I first held hands saying “Oh my goodness Joey and I just held hands!” Emily, you’re someone I can trust and come to without any fear of judgement, knowing you will be always honest with me. I’m lucky to have walked through so much of life with you, and I’m so thrilled that you’ll be standing by me through this season.

Alec Martin

Groomsman

Alec is one of my oldest friends! We became friends back in elementary school and have stayed friends ever since. I’ll never forget the countless days we played football and ping pong after school. I was always anxiously awaiting the bell to ring, signaling the end of the school day and the start of the ESPN highlight reel…“Martin rushing back to the endzone and…IT’S A CATCH. OVER THE SHOULDER CATCH. UNBELIEVABLE. That’s going to be on ESPN tomorrow!” Great times and even better memories. Alec and his fiancé, Steph, are getting married in July and living in Northern VA! Alec, I am thrilled that you could be a part of this day.

Lindsey Blanchetti

Bridesmaid

Lindsey and I met through our small group at JMU. We grew closer as we both went through small group leader training and bonding over things we have in common. Some of the most encouraging moments at JMU come from conversations with her, whether it be spontaneous late-night, parked-car conversations, or planned lunch/dinner dates. Her sense of humor is right up my alley, making me laugh with puns galore. She’s more kind and wise than she realizes, always pointing me to Jesus. Linds, you have so much grace and integrity and I admire the way that you love Jesus and love others. I’m so thankful for your friendship, especially during this season.

Chris Margrey

Groomsman

I only met Chris about a year ago and he’s become one of my closest friends. We both started vet school together, and before I had even moved to Blacksburg, he Facebook messaged me introducing himself and asked if I wanted to play some frisbee when I moved in. Chris and Caleb both attended Virginia Tech for undergrad, so starting vet school wasn’t as much of a transition for them. It was a different story for me. These two guys made my transition smooth and easy, for which I am SO grateful. Chris, thanks for accepting my invitation to be a groomsman, it’s going to be a great day.

Christi Querry

Bridesmaid

Christi and I met because we were paired up to lead a freshmen small group together. We both were pretty nervous when we first got paired up because we were so different from one another. As we got to know each other more and as we started to lead together, she became more of a friend than just a co-leader. Some of my favorite memories come from our weekly small group planning meetings where we would plan small group for about 20 minutes and just talk about life for two hours. Christi, you are intentional, encouraging, and I will forever be thankful for this sweet and unexpected friendship.

Caleb Minger

Groomsman

Much like Chris, I also met Caleb at the start of vet school and he is now one of my closest friends. Both of them had already been friends prior to the start of vet school. Caleb is such a hard worker, setting a great example to the people around him. He has managed to hold down a job while also being in vet school at the same time. I don’t know how you do it, man. It’s impressive. Thanks for being a constant line of support through some of the toughest moments this past year. I’m looking forward to the next three years of school and I’m thrilled that you will be standing next to me on December 22nd.

Cassie Raymo

Bridesmaid

Cassie and I initially met through some mutual friends at JMU. We realized that we both loved to play music, so the first time we hung out we decided to play music together. It is the most instant connection I’ve ever had with anyone. We were almost immediately best friends after that day of playing music and worshipping Jesus together. Cassie, you are one of the most wise, humble, and gracious people I know, and it’s such a blessing to live with you, be your friend, and have you by my side through it all.

Abraham Farrag

Groomsman

Abraham! Gosh, I’ve known you the longest out of all these groomsmen. We have thousands of memories spanning at least 13 years, if not more. Even though we’ve spent the last 4 years in different states, catching up over dinner always feels like we haven’t skipped a beat. Some of my favorite memories with you come from our annual 4th of July parties every year. I’ll never forget when you strapped a G.I. Joe to about 50 bottle rockets and tried to send it to space. Thanks for being such a great friend over all these years.
