Fabiola and Elijah met during our senior year of high school in 2020 while working the same job—proof that sometimes the best things really do happen when you least expect them. What started as casual conversations quickly turned into something more, and by August of 2020, we officially began dating. Not long after, life took us in different directions when Fabiola moved away for school. For the next four years, we made long distance work by seeing each other whenever we could, planning visits, and turning every reunion into a mini adventure. Many of our favorite memories were made trying new restaurants, going on countless dates, and proving that distance really does make the heart grow fonder. In 2025, we were finally reunited in our home city—right where it all began. The next chapter came with a surprise trip to the beautiful Vizcaya Museum in Miami, where Elijah proposed in the most unforgettable setting. Of course, the answer was an easy yes. Now we’re so excited to be planning our wedding and looking forward to a lifetime of love, laughter, and new adventures together. We’re incredibly grateful to celebrate this moment with the people who have supported us every step of the way.
