FROM FABIENE'S POV: It was our freshman year of high school. Micah was hanging out by D building (if you went to Campbell, you'll know where that is) waiting for his friends. I was walking in his direction, to D building, with my friend to wait for our other friends. My friend said hi to Micah, then introduced us. After they were done having a short conversation, I boldly asked "you know you blink a lot?". He just laughed it off and replied with "yeeaahhh". A start to a great friendship!
FROM FABIENE'S POV: By this time, we're best friends and have let each other know how we both felt about one another. We hung out and wanted to see how things would be as couple, for about a month. We got into an argument on this day. He texted me to get ready because he was going to pick me up and it was a surprise. I angrily sat in his car as he drove to this "surprise". Siri was giving him directions, but I still had no idea where we were going. We get to Tantalus lookout. Micah nervously says, "we're here!" Then asks, "wanna sit in the trunk?" I agreed and walked to his trunk, that was open with a poster and roses in it. The poster read: "I got a question...don't got much time. I'll make it quick....will you be mine?" I replied with, "uhh yeeaaahhhh!" It was the start of a crazy, but amazing, 6 years!
FROM MICAH'S POV: This was a day that was in the making for over 5 years, but I just didn’t know it yet. I told Fabiene that we were going to do a Christmas photo shoot to help our friends business, but little did she know, it would be a day that would change the rest of our lives. The day went perfect with beautiful weather and an amazing sunset, but at the end, it was time to ask the question. For weeks, I would practice what I would say by myself and asking God for the right words, but the only thing that mattered is saying “Fabiene, will you marry me?”. I know that God had made her for me and there is no other person I’d rather be standing across the aisle when the day comes.
