If you are coming from out of town we highly recommend GoG! Mr. Fabich lovingly refers to it as "a pile of rocks," but we can assure you that you will be blown away by the beauty of one of Colorado Springs' claims to fame. You can go drive through the beautiful scenery or simply walk the paved trails. If you are looking for an adventure, you can do any number of hikes around there.

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo

CMZ was voted the fourth best zoo in North America, but it is number one in our hearts. Please ask Ryan how many animals he has pet at this zoo (one is pictured here). If you have time to make this trip we highly recommend it!

Pikes Peak

If you are coming early or staying in town for a couple extra days we highly recommend driving up to the Pikes Peak summit. Pikes Peak, also called America's Mountain, is one of the most well known 14ers (that is a mountain over 14,000 feet in elevation for the out-of-staters). It is beautiful at the top and there is a brand new summit house! One of our very first dates was driving up to the summit. It can get a little chilly up there even in the summer so wear layers! Please be aware that this trip will take most of the day so we don't recommend doing it on Saturday.

Lulu's Frozen Yogurt

This is a Colorado Springs staple! Make sure to have a hoola hoop contest outside after you eat your yogurt. We can almost guarantee your hoola hoop skills will be better than Ryan’s but worse than Riley’s.

The Promenade Shops At Briargate

This is an outdoor mall with restaurants and shops in case you need to do some shopping!
