Flight
We recommend flying into Juan Santamaría International Airport (SJO), as the wedding events will take place in San José. Upon arrival, we suggest taking Uber or one of the official orange airport taxis for a safe and reliable ride to your hotel or accommodation. If you plan to explore Guanacaste before or after, note that Liberia International Airport (LIR) is another great option.

Please note that proof of yellow fever vaccination is required to enter Costa Rica if you are traveling from or hold a passport from certain countries in South America (🇨🇴Colombia, 🇻🇪 Venezuela, 🇪🇨 Ecuador, 🇧🇷 Brazil, 🇵🇪Perú). The vaccination certificate must be issued at least 10 days before arrival.

Costa Rica requires a tourist visa for visitors from certain countries we know some of our guests are from, including 🇨🇴 Colombia, 🇻🇪 Venezuela, 🇬🇪 Georgia, and 🇮🇳 India. If you hold a valid U.S. visa or residency, or a EU/Schengen residency, you may be exempt from this requirement. Please check official entry requirements ahead of your trip to ensure smooth travel.

For larger groups or families, Airbnbs are a great choice. We suggest looking in the Escazú or Rohrmorser neighborhoods, they're both safe, central, and close to everything.
