Bartender meets waitress. The rest is history. From early on we enjoyed breakfast and lunch dates as that was our life then. A growing connection as we grew together with our ability to escape within each other as well as have massive respect for each other as we push ourselves professionally. This continues today as we are loving the journey.
Every year we go to Wisconsin Dells with my family. Which means no time for just the two of us. The night before it happened, while sitting by the fire, Kurt asked if I would like to go get breakfast at this cute little diner down the street from where we were staying. He might of sweetened the deal by saying they have homemade giant cinnamon rolls. We woke up super early, to which I almost told him I would rather sleep in. ( sure happy I didn't ) He suggested we stop at the small boat dock down the street from our rental house, to take in how pretty and quite it all is. I could feel his heart beating extremely fast but I chalked it up to the dock being old and could possibly give at any second. Next thing I know he takes my hand and gets down on one knee and asked me to marry him. After we both calmed down and stopped crying, we went to that cute little diner and had breakfast as fiancées, and I got my cinnamon roll :)
