What is the dress code?
Answer
Formal. For ladies, this could be a long dress, midi, or cocktail dress. For men, this would include a suit. No jeans, please. We would love to see our friends and family dressed up to celebrate with us! Our bridal party will wear dusty blue, and our groomsmen will wear a medium blue suit. Our wedding will feature many colorful spring hues, so we encourage you to dress in this color palette.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
We ask that only those addressed on the invitation attend. If you have been given a plus one or additional family member, your invitation will be sent to "(Your name) & Guest(s)." You can see who is on your invitation through the RSVP tab by typing one member of your party's name.

Are kids invited?
Answer
We both love children, and know that sometimes weddings may not be the best environment for every child of every age. If your kids are included on the invitation you have been given, please use your best judgment, as you know your children best and know if they will be able to sit through a 30 minute ceremony. If your child does need a moment, there are several quiet areas around the venue our coordinator can assist you with finding!

Is the venue indoors or outdoors?
Answer
The ceremony and reception will be indoors, while the cocktail hour will be outdoors. If the weather doesn't permit it, the cocktail hour will be moved inside.

What is the weather like in Texas?
Answer
For our out-of-town guests: The weather is very unpredictable in Texas. The usual high and low for May are 82 and 62 degrees, respectively. Texas can get very hot, rainy, and unpleasant sometimes, so we want you to be prepared. Our ceremony and reception will be indoors, and an outdoor cocktail hour and yard games will be available.

What time should I arrive?

Our ceremony will begin promptly at 5 pm. Dallas traffic can get a bit hectic, especially going into Rockwall, so we ask that you try to plan to be there by 4:45 pm, as we will be closing the doors by 4:55 pm to avoid any delays in the ceremony. If you are not seated when the doors close, we're sorry to miss you. We will catch you at the reception held afterward.

Is parking available at the venue?
Answer
Yes, the venue has a paved parking lot, which is free to park in should you choose to drive. Cocktails will be served, so we ask that those who drive do so responsibly. Ubers and lyfts are available to service this area.

Answer
We know many of our friends and family are coming from all over to celebrate with us. Our wedding will take place in Royse City, which is East of Dallas so we recommend staying in the Royse City or Rockwall area.
