Up for a hike? Fall is our favorite time of the year to hike. Visit this spot and see if you can spot where Eric proposed to Leah. Gear up for about a 3-hour intermediate to advanced hike that loops and ends along a little creek with small waterfalls. This is located about 40 minutes from the venue along the Delaware Water Gap in New Jersey.
Did you know that our first date was a 3 hour- 9 mile hike in the pouring rain on this exact trail? Come experience it for yourself with beautiful views. Approximately 50 minutes from the venue.
Looking for a "blue zone" type restaurant? Look no further than Farmhouse Crystal in East Stroudsburg, PA. From Easton, it's about 30 min ride into the Pocono mountains, but will be well worth the trip. Farmhouse boasts a farm to table style of dining fit to meet any budget. The food? It's fresh and cooked to perfection. We have visited for breakfast, brunch and dinner and haven't had a "bad" meal. For breakfast, we recommend the "deconstructed farm platter." You need to go in with a buddy to get this large meal, but you won't be disappointed. For dinner, we recommend the "BBQ Chicken & Rib Picnic Platter." You'll get a half barbecue chicken that succulent and fall off the bone ribs. Lest I not forget the strawberry butter.
If you love wine, then this place is a must visit. Blue Ridge offers a variety of wine selections to meet all tastes. The outdoor ambiance is gorgeous and breathtaking. Take a walk through the vineyards with your glass or flight of wine and experience the raw material used to create your tasty wine. There is usually entertainment and food trucks for a lively time. The winery is ~ 30 minutes from the venue.
Brick oven pizza and onsite winery. We recommend the Donatello and Buffalo Chicken for brick oven pizza.
Looking to "spice" up your palette and enjoy ethnic cuisine? Look no further than Aman's in the heart of downtown Easton. Aman's offers an array of authentic Indian cuisine. Our recommendations include: the Samosa's, Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Garlic Naan. Truth be told, you won't go wrong with anything on the menu and you'll understand why this is our favorite Indian restaurant in the valley.
Have some downtime before the wedding festivities? Then we recommend you visit the oldest, continuous open-air market in the nation. We have a lot of love for Easton and this is one of our favorites.

While in town, maybe you want to catch a show, concert, play, etc to fill your evening. Check out the famous State Theatre in downtown Easton. We've been to this theatre to catch a comedy show and Mario Andretti happened to be an attendee in the front row...
What was once the largest steel producer in the world, check out Bethlehem Steel and learn about the company's rich and tragic history. Walk along the elevated steel walkway and take in the nostalgia of a historic American landmark. Located ~15 minutes from the venue on the south side of Bethlehem, PA.
Are you feeling lucky? Check out the Wind Creek Casino on the south side of Bethlehem, PA, just ~15 min away from Easton. Maybe gambling isn't you're thing. Perhaps you are looking to get "amped" up. Check out the Wind Creek Event Center for a concert. The venue is small, but the acoustics are great. It's standing room only and one price for floor admission. Eric has seen Breaking Benjamin, Rob Zombie, Stone Sour, and Papa Roach here.
Looking for authentic Chinese food? Look no further than U & Tea in the heart of southside Bethlehem. This place offers generous portions and comes out as it's prepared. We have eaten at many Chinese places in the local area and in the south Jersey area and U & Tea still serves as the gold standard for Chinese food. The Ho Fun and General Tso's are fantastic and our personal recommendations.
