We met in August 2024 on Hinge. It was a very short time after swiping ‘til we had our first conversation, and that conversation lasted hours. We had our first date a few days after that, and I knew he was different than everyone else when he brought a toy for Kona. Over the matter of a few months, our relationship took off and we found ourselves spending more and more time together, and finding it harder to be away from one another. Carlos was still working in San Diego so time was limited for the both of us, but thankfully he was able to transfer to Norco in July, and that’s when we decided to move in together. I planned a birthday bbq for Carlos and my brother Jeff, but little did I know those birthdays wouldn’t be the only thing we’d be celebrating. Carlos proposed to me as I am swinging at a piñata in the shape of a taco, while Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer played…in Spanish. To say it was a day I’d never forget would be an understatement. Now we’re here, patiently waiting and excited to share the most important day of our lives with each of you.
