Maid of Honor
As Erica's best friend since 8th grade, Valerie has been promoted to the fourth Lubkeman daughter (what an honor). She attends more family functions than some of the actual family, and we wouldn't have it any other way. Always coming in hot with her spunk and sarcasm, Valerie keeps everyone on their toes. She also has put up with Erica all these years, so she deserves some recognition.
Best Man
Coming in at a whopping 5 foot 8, Matt balances Zach out perfectly. Best friends since birth, Matt and Zach enjoy eating donuts in duck blinds (whether any birds are shot is still up for debate), riding around on old snowmobiles, and taking part in whatever other shenanigans come their way. Matt is also the token farmer friend, providing Zach and Erica with all the apples and strawberries imaginable.
Bridesmaid
Contrary to her fiery red hair, Kendall is the sweetest person you'll ever meet. Erica and Kendall became close friends during their sophomore year of high school when they played on the same travel volleyball team. They have been best friends ever since. Kendall is always up for a good time, and similar to Erica and Zach she can’t say no to a drink.
Groomsman
As Zach's college roommate and fraternity brother at Monmouth College, Jeff and Zach have been known to eat ten frozen pizzas in one sitting. Fueled by some cold Miller High Lifes and egg salad sandwiches, they enjoyed drunken woodworking projects and plenty of Nintendo 64 Mario Kart races throughout their college years.
Bridesmaid
Britta is Erica's older sister. Known for her killer breakfast casseroles, Britta helps keep the family fed on Christmas mornings and after early-morning hunts in Montello. Britta and Erica both have a shared love of horse-back riding, pheasant and deer hunting, and of course frequent trips to TJ Maxx and Marshall's.
Groomsman
Darren is Erica's brother-in-law who has been around the family for quite some time (20+ years), so he knows a thing or two. Darren, Zach, and Erica have shared many bourbon-filled late nights discussing hunting endeavors at the shared Montello hunting property, followed by early morning wake-up calls to get out in the woods and chase after whatever is in season. They also have a shared love for their vegetable gardens and figuring out the perfect recipe for pickling veggies.
Bridesmaid
Although she is actually Erica's younger sister, people oftentimes think Linnea and Erica are twins. So much so that they were termed the "Twin Towers" during iceless hockey games when they were growing up. Linnea is a force to be reckoned with and can probably squat more weight than half (or all) of the groomsmen.
Groomsman
The Ty-Ropractor! Erica's other brother-in-law who is everyone's favorite back cracker. Also known for his love of football, Zach and Ty get into many heated football discussions (Go Pack Go!). When not fighting about football, Zach and the brother-in-laws thoroughly enjoy bonding over whatever meat is on the smoker.
Bridesmaid
Brittany was Erica's partner in crime back in 2017 when the bride and groom met for the first time at the infamous Limerick bar in Antioch. Brittany can take credit for capturing a video of the soon-to-be happy couple captioned "I think Erica met the love of her life," whilst holding the infamous McDonald's cheeseburger that started it all.
Groomsman
Friends since high school, Zach and Max kept the bench warm together at Antioch football games. They now have moved on to keeping the bleachers warm together at Lambeau Field, as they both have green and gold running through their veins. Max and Erica also became close friends after high school and bonded over Sunday morning screwdrivers and slots at the local bars (especially when Erica won Max money).
Bridesmaid
The other loud blonde girl in the room. Meghan and Erica became friends during their younger days at cornfield bonfires and garage parties. Nowadays they thoroughly enjoy binge watching reality tv shows, eating Parker John's BBQ, and occasionally "shotgunning" warm Twisted Teas.
Groomsman
Also friends since Antioch football, Zach and Jake have spent many nights together headbanging at heavy metal concerts. Verified on a trip to Mexico with Zach and Erica, Jake thoroughly enjoys long walks on the beach and drinking tropical cocktails out of coconuts (Co Cos!!!).
Bridesmaid
Lauren is Erica's random college roommate who turned into a life-long friend. Lauren and Erica clicked immediately and lived together in college three of the four years (only separated because of differing sorority dorms sophomore year). Junior and senior year Erica and Lauren devoured a few too many late-night Will's pizzas ($1 a slice after midnight - how could you pass that up?) at their apartment, Above The Law.
Groomsman
Another relationship forged from the Antioch football team, Steve is always up for a good time. Steve is one of those guys who will give you the shirt off his back and lend a helping hand whenever needed, but also will crack a joke at your expense to keep you in check. Although a great friend to both Zach and Erica, he is not known for his bartending skills, so you might not want to ask him to make you a drink - his signature concoction is a vodka Sprite with a meat stick.
Bridesmaid
The only other girl at Miami University with an appreciation for horses, guns, and whiskey. Erica and Lauren quickly became the best of friends, venturing to country concerts at Brick Street, enjoying weekends visiting Lauren's family farm, and nowadays flying wherever the wind (or jobs) takes them, including Mexico, Louisville, and of course the middle of nowhere Iowa.
Groomsman
The man responsible for introducing the bride and groom... Matt and Zach were enjoying a day at Wrigley Field when Matt sent a Snapchat of himself and Zach to Erica. Erica promptly asked who the cutie in the photo was and if he was single. Matt took the hint and brought Zach out to the bars one night, where Zach and Erica hit it off. Friends since their days at Emmons school, Zach and Erica are both grateful for Matt's friendship that has led to today.
Groomsman
A 20-year friendship going strong. From 6th grade at AUGS, to senior year at Miami University, to almost ten years into their corporate jobs, Jimmy and Erica have experienced it all together. From 8:00 am finance classes to 8:00 am workdays, not much has changed. They may not drink the iridescent blue Trashcan cocktails at the college bars any more, but that hasn't stopped them from throwing a few back at Erica and Zach's basement bar.
Groomsman
The other tall goofy guy - no wonder he and Zach are such good friends. These two have known each other since they were little kids ("little" is relative). They grew up playing Antioch baseball together, but now they enjoy sweating over Nashville hot chicken and the occasional karaoke performance.
