We took a trip to Lake Como after Zach had been deployed for 6 months. It was our first day there and we were going to the gardens of Villa del Balbianello where they shot Star Wars-Attack of the Clones. We had done two laps around the gardens and Edith was ready to go because she was hungry, but Zach was insisting that they stay until closing. Edith did not think that Zach was going to propose because earlier that day when she pointed out the ring shaped box in Zach's pocket he pulled out a camera and showed her that he did not have a ring. Twenty minutes before closing Zach took them to a private balcony overlooking the water and set up the camera to take a picture just as they had been doing all afternoon. When he walked over he started talking about their relationship and that is when he got down on one knee and proposed. Edith was very surprised and her first words to him were "Are you sure?" followed by an immediate Yes!
