HOW WE MET

How we met Rebekah met Ezekiel from a distance but that did not keep them apart!! A few years of a long-distance relationship allowed them to really get to know each other. Eventually, Rebekah took a big leap and moved to Myrtle Beach South Carolina to be closer to Ezekiel. It is obvious to all Rebekah and Ezekiel are “two peas in a pod” and share many of the same interests particularly their love for animals, sports and family. Rebekah and Ezekiel currently have three dogs and two cats and have spent time fostering a few other animals which have found new forever homes. They are both football fans and Zeke has gotten Rebekah to become a fan of his beloved Minnesota Vikings – he is still working on her becoming a Clemson fan! ROLL TIDE!!! Both Rebekah and Zeke love to be surrounded by family and enjoy spending time with their parents, siblings and Zeke’s nieces and nephews and are looking forward to the wedding being a wonderful family event.

THE PROPOSAL

On December 22, 2017, Rebekah and Zeke hosted an “Ugly Christmas Sweater” party. While Rebekah was busy planning the party, Zeke was planning his proposal! After a few hours of fun and festivities, Zeke got down on one knee in front of their friends and asked Rebekah to marry him. She could not have been more surprised and more thrilled! Rebekah’s father on the other hand was not surprised! Zeke, being the gentleman that he is, had asked Bill for Rebekah’s hand in marriage when they were in New York for the Thanksgiving holiday. Rebekah and Zeke are a true partnership with an obvious love and respect for each other. It is with the blessing of friends and family that Rebekah and Zeke “tie the knot” and begin their happily ever after!! #foreverandevans
