We met through a mutual friend via Instagram. Chris slid into my DMs (Chris messaged me via Instagram - perfect 20th century love story). We then decided to meet in person with our group of friends, and instantly had a great connection! We kept in contact and had our first official date on October 27, 2017. While I was 30 minutes late, I knew he was the one the moment I locked eyes with him. Being late is typically a deal breaker for Chris, especially on a first date, but, the date went so well he decided to look past it. It went so well, that's the night we had our first kiss. Since then, Chris and I went on multiple dates and on January 14, 2018, Chris asked me to be his girlfriend. Nos conocimos a través de un amigo en común a través de Instagram. Chris me envió un mensaje a través de Instagram, una historia de amor perfecta del siglo XX. Decidimos reunirnos en persona con nuestro grupo de amigos, ¡y al instante tuvimos una gran conexión! Nos mantuvimos en contacto y tuvimos nuestra primera cita oficial el 27 de octubre de 2017. Aunque llegué 30 minutos tarde, supe que era él amor de mi vida en el momento en que entré al restaurante y lo miré a los ojos. Desde entonces, Chris y yo tuvimos varias citas y el 14 de enero de 2018, Chris me pidió que fuera su novia.

2021 has been full of surprises and life changing events for Chris and I. Leading to the proposal, we had many things to celebrate. On the day of the proposal, I was under the impression that we were celebrating Chris' mom's and sister's birthday. On the way to his mom's house, Chris decided to make a 'quick stop' at the park. As we walked to our favorite bench, there were rose petals in the form of a heart and letters that spelled, Marry Me. Chris got in one knee and asked the question and of course I said yes! 2021 ha estado lleno de sorpresas y eventos que han cambiado la vida de Chris y mia. Antes de la propuesta, tuvimos muchas cosas que celebrar. Se suponía que el sábado íbamos a celebrar el cumpleaños de su mamá (Cristina) y de la hermana (Christa) (¡o al menos eso pensé!). De camino a la casa de su madre, Chris decidió hacer una "parada rápida" en el parque para matar tiempo. Mientras caminábamos hacia nuestro banco favorito, había pétalos de rosa en forma de corazón y letras que deletreaban Cásate conmigo. Chris se arrodilló e hizo la pregunta, y yo muy emocionada dije que sí!!!!

January 14, 2023 is a special date for us! On that date, Chris and I will be celebrating our 5 year anniversary and we are so excited to celebrate it with you! ¡El 14 de enero de 2023 es una fecha muy especial para nosotros! En esa fecha, Chris y yo celebraremos nuestro aniversario de 5 años juntos y estamos muy emocionados de celebrarlo contigo.
