We kindly ask all guests to RSVP no later then May 1st, the earlier the better! Please utilize our website to RSVP digitally or text/call Ewelina at 201-981-4421. Absolutely! If you know ahead of time that you won’t be able to join us, we’d greatly appreciate an early RSVP. It helps us plan better and ensure everyone has the best experience possible. Thank you!

What are POPRAWINY?

Answer

*Poprawiny* is a Polish tradition that refers to a celebration held the day after the wedding. It is essentially an after-party where close family and friends gather to continue the festivities. While the wedding reception itself is often more formal and elaborate, *poprawiny* is typically more relaxed, with an emphasis on spending time together, eating, drinking, and enjoying each other's company.

When should I arrive?

Answer

Poland is 6 hours ahead, we suggest arriving 1-2 days prior to the wedding to avoid major jetlag!

How do I get from the airport to my hotel?

Answer

You may contact our wedding coordinator to arrange a transfer or use uber/bolt app. There are also local taxis at the airport waiting. More information will be posted at a later date.

Do I need travel insurance?

We suggest purchasing travel insurance in case of emergencies for all hotel and flight travel.

Please make sure your passport is valid 6 months prior to your expiration date.

What currency does Poland use?

Answer

Poland uses the Polish Zloty as its official currency. The currency code is PLN. You may exchange your money at your local bank prior to traveling or use the local "kantor" exchange points located at airports and around the city. Major credit cards are also accepted.

Is it easy to get around Poland?

If you plan on exploring Poland we recommend renting a car however optional as there are trains, trams, taxis, ride shares (uber&bolt) and public transportation available.

Do I need a International License for car rental in Poland?

Answer

Yes, if you are renting through a company you will need International Driving Permit (IDP), sometimes known as an international driver’s license, it allows you to drive legally in countries that require one. It is a document that translates your identifying information into different languages. Polish car rental companies require an IDP, you will carry it along with your U.S. driver’s license and is valid for one year. This can be acquired through AAA. *Same credit card should be accompanied at pickup that your reservation was made with.

Do you have a wedding registry?

We truly appreciate your generosity, but since we’ve already been living together and have everything we need for our home, we’ve decided not to have a traditional registry. We would much rather have you focus on your travel plans to join us on our special day. However, if you’d like, you may contribute to our cash fund to help with wedding-related expenses. Above all, your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for!

Where can I get my makeup and hair done? Gdzie mogę zrobić makijaż i fryzurę?

Answer

We have a hairstylist and makeup artist who will be coming to the venue on the day of the wedding. To book your appointment onsite, please reach out to our wedding coordinator at Dworek Przy Lesie or let Ewelina know. Na miejscu, w dniu ślubu, będzie dostępna fryzjerka oraz makijażystka.
