FAQs

Have a question? We’ve got you covered. Here are a few helpful details to make your trip and celebration as smooth (and fun!) as possible.
Question

What should I wear?

Answer

No formal dress code here—come as your wonderful self. Kilts and cowboy boots are especially welcome! 🤠

Question

Is there parking at the ceremony or reception?

Answer

There’s plenty of parking at the church. For the reception, we’ll have limited spots at the house, so we recommend using Uber, Lyft, or carpooling if possible. Need to park at the residence? Just let us know—we’ll make it work!

Question

Can I bring a plus-one?

Answer

If your invitation includes a plus-one, they’re absolutely invited! If you're unsure, feel free to reach out.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Yes! We’d love to have them there. Just let us know how many little ones will be in your party when you RSVP.

Question

Will the ceremony or reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be indoors at the church. The reception will be mostly outdoors, weather permitting—so bring your dancing shoes and maybe a light jacket just in case.

Question

What's on the menu?

Answer

Texas barbecue, y’all—come hungry for brisket, fixins, and sweet treats. We’ll have some veggie options too (and promise not to count bacon as a vegetable). Let us know if you’ve got special dietary requirements—we’ll do our best to make sure everyone’s well fed and happy!

Question

What's the weather like in October?

Answer

Early October in Round Rock is usually sunny and mild, with highs around 85°F. Keep an eye on the forecast closer to the date!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve listed a few nearby hotels in the “Travel” section—including The Ruby Hotel, Aloft, and Hampton Inn. If you have kids with you, you might want to consider making a trip of it and stay at Kalahari. Book early if you can!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have beer, wine, and a few signature cocktails at the reception. Please enjoy responsibly.

Question

How do I RSVP?

Answer

Just head over to our RSVP page and let us know if you can make it. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 15, 2025 so we can plan all the good stuff—seats, food, drinks, and dance floor space. Head to the RSVP page and let us know who’s coming (and how many kids you're bringing, too!). If you need a little more time due to travel and other constraints, just let us know.

Question

Do you have a registry?

Answer

We’re so grateful just to celebrate with you! If you feel moved to give, we’d love for you to consider a donation to two dog rescues close to our hearts: 🐾 Austin Hound Rescue 🐶 Gold Ribbon Rescue

Question

Can I request a song for the reception?

Answer

Absolutely! We have a spot in the RSVP form where you can share song suggestions. Whether it’s something to dance to, sing along with, or just enjoy in the background, we’d love your input to help set the vibe. That said, the bride and groom reserve final say, so no DMB.

Question

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes—be mindful, as it’ll be a busy weekend in Austin, which could mean higher travel costs, limited accommodations, and heavier traffic. The city will be buzzing on October 4, 2025! The Austin City Limits Music Festival kicks off its first weekend at Zilker Park (October 3–5), featuring over 100 performances. Austin FC also has a home match that night against St. Louis City SC at Q2 Stadium (7:30 PM). The Texas Longhorns are playing away, but you should still expect a lot of burnt orange in the local bars. We recommend booking early and building in extra time for travel!

Question

Wait... the Texas Longhorns play that day?

Answer

They sure do, against the University of Florida in Gainesville. But don’t worry—we checked with Coach Sarkisian and he confirmed that our wedding is the other can't-miss event of the weekend. If you're lucky, we might have the game on inside. If you want to follow the A&M game, you can always catch the 'highlights' later.
