When should I RSVP by?

Answer

As soon as you can! We're hosting this celebration ourselves and would love to know who is coming. If you're still unsure, please let us know by August 28th.

What if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be greatly missed, but please let us know as soon as possible. At the latest, let us know by August 28th via the RSVP site.

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Since this is such a small event, we wanted to include those who are most special to us. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love all the little ones in our lives, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event with the exception of our cute flower girls.

Where is this venue?

Answer

Our home in Yorkville, Illinois! To keep everyone safe, we've decided to keep this small and limited the number of people attending and working our wedding. 2748 Cranston Circle Yorkville, IL 60560

Will there be parking?

Answer

There is limited street parking on our street. Please be courteous to our neighbors when parking our street. That said, we encourage ride share services such as Uber/Lyft and carpooling when possible.

Will the ceremony and reception be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

We’re currently planning on having both the ceremony and reception outdoors in tents. If weather does not permit this, we will move both indoors.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The average high is 74 degrees and the average low will be 54 degrees. Please feel free to bring whatever items make you comfortable for our outdoor ceremony and tented reception.

What should I wear? Is there a dress code?

Answer

Dressy Casual (simple dress, dress pants, a button down shirt). Our bridal party will be wearing dresses and suits.

Will food be served?

Answer

Yes! We've hired our favorite BBQ spot for catering. There will be a buffet with some gluten free/vegetarian options.

What about drinks?

Answer

Also yes! We'll be stocking the bar ourselves with our favorites, so if you have any requests please let us know!

Where are you registered?

Answer

We are registered at Amazon and Bed, Bath, and Beyond. There is a tab on this site that takes you right to our registries. If you don't find anything you'd like to gift, we could always use HomeGoods gift cards to purchase some essentials!

I'm concerned about the pandemic

Answer

We are too. The pandemic is guiding many of our wedding planning decisions, as we monitor the situation in Illinois. We have some backup plans if cases start spiking again, which could include limiting our guest list even further, or postponing. We'll do our best to keep everyone up to date as we get closer, but please keep in mind we're focused on everyone's safety first and foremost.

What about vaccines?

Answer

Most of our guests will be vaccinated prior to the wedding. For those who are not, we highly recommend unvaccinated guests to wear a mask for their safety, in accordance with CDC guidelines.
