We’re getting hitched!

We first met on a drizzly February night at a bar called Suttrees in downtown Knoxville, TN thanks to Bumble (it’s a dating app for those fortunate enough to never have had to use one). We like to joke that Evy was tempted to cancel because it was so gross outside that day - thank goodness she didn’t! That first date was reallyyy soon after Andrew had moved to Knoxville for a job in ticket sales for with the UT Vols. We quickly hit it off and have been together since that first date -over six years now! We actually still celebrate our first date as our anniversary because we never had an official “will you be my bf/gf?” convo. So it will be nice to have an official wedding date to celebrate! Andrew proposed on April 10th, 2022 after we spent the day visiting a few of the locations where we had our first dates. Evy got suspicious when the tripod came out but will forever be thankful he worked with a friend to ensure she had her nails done. :) In our six years together, we’ve been through a lot: cross-country road trips and long distance, a pandemic, purchasing a house and making it a home, Andrew realizing the joy and pain of being a Vols fan, adopting pups, fostering pups, adopting most of those foster pups… Despite having built a life we love together, we’re really looking forward to taking the next step and getting married, and we’re so excited to have all of our closest friends and family in one place to help us celebrate!
