At the end of 2023, Garrett and Evist met the way many modern love stories begin (online). What started as a simple conversation quickly turned into something easy, natural, and unexpectedly meaningful. From the very beginning, there was a quiet sense that this connection was different. For their first date, they skipped the typical dinner plans and went for a run instead on the beach. Yes, a run 😅. What Evist didn’t know at the time was that G basically runs marathons every week, so what was meant to be a casual jog turned into an early lesson in patience, humor, and keeping up. They come from different cultures, languages, and traditions, and those differences have become one of the most beautiful parts of their story.
