Minneapolis–Saint Paul International Airport

MSP is roughly 30 miles from The Little Log House Pioneer Village. Flights here are usually cheaper than flights into Rochester. However, on some airlines flights into Rochester might be cheaper so make sure you look at both airports before booking.

Rochester International Airport

Rochester, MN is where we live and is roughly 60 miles away from The Little Log House Pioneer Village. RST flies direct from Chicago, Atlanta and Minneapolis. Occasionally flights here can be cheaper than MSP, so make sure you check both airports before booking.

Hotel

GrandStay® Hotel and Suites - Cannon Falls

We have a block of rooms for the night of the wedding (Friday) at the GrandStay, roughly 20 minutes from The Little Log House. A complimentary shuttle will be provided after the reception to take guests back to the hotel. A block of available rooms include double queens, single kings, king suites and large suites for families up to 6 members.

Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Cottage Grove, MN

We have another block of rooms for Thursday and Friday night, suited for out-of-town guests. This hotel is a 25 minute ride from MSP Airport and a 25 minute shuttle to the venue. There will be a complimentary shuttle from the hotel to the ceremony and a return shuttle after the reception. These rooms include mainly single Kings, King suites (king bed with sofa bed) and a few double queens.

Alternative Lodging Options

Hotels: Other cities to look at for potential hotels/lodging include Eagan, Red Wing and Hastings. Keep in mind, shuttle service will only be available from the GrandStay and Country Inn. Uber/Lyft: If staying at the GrandStay, service is limited in the area. If staying at the Country Inn, service is available for pickup from the hotel to the wedding, however service might not be available for returning to Minneapolis. Taxi: the nearby towns of Hastings and Red Wing do have taxi service available if you decide to stay here. AirBnB: There are a few options in the surrounding towns that can accommodate larger groups.
