Matron of Honor
I am Lauren's best friend from Belhaven. We met during an orientation and have become fast friends by bonding over our mutual love for coffee, chocolate, travels, and teaching. Lauren and her family have become like an extended family to me, and I am truly blessed to know them. I am honored and overjoyed to stand by my friend on her wedding day.

When Lauren and I are together, it's a wild ride. I'm the Shawn to her Gus, the Arthur to her Merlin, the "in" to her "sanity." We've taught the kindergarten Sunday school class together for the past 4 years, and we somehow manage not to destroy everything. I'm super happy that she found Jordan.

The first time I met Jordan, he looked familiar. After being unable to recall where I had met him, I talked to him and found out he went to Starkville Christian. Suddenly, everything made sense. Our schools played each other in basketball, and Jordan would run up and down the court screaming. As a tactic to intimidate his opponents, he would scream at the top of his lungs. It worked for some, but those it didn’t work for, a horrifying whisper would come into their ear. Those who fell victim to his screams lived to play another day, but those who received the dreadful whisper were never the same. Nevertheless, Jordan is a great man, a great preacher, and an even better friend. So happy for these two, and can’t wait to see what God has for him and Lauren.

I made this happen! Ok, not entirely, but I significantly helped. Lauren is my cousin, and we love to hang out and have fun. I paired her with Jordan a long time before I reintroduced them back in November. Love both of them, and I'm wishing them all the best!

There’s just something about Laurens, huh? I always wondered what my future husband’s family would be like, and you always hear horror stories about the in-laws, but honestly I hit the jackpot! Lauren and I share a lot of the same quirks and interests, but she is truly a one-of-a-kind! I’m so thankful to have such a fun and quirky new “sister”! We’ve known each other for just over a year now, and I am thankful for her! When the family is together, I have someone who will also hang up on her brother with me, and someone I can craft and girl-talk with! I’m so happy she has found her true love in Jordan! I know they are going to have a lifetime of fun and happiness together! It’s an honor to be able to be a part of their special day, and I can’t wait to see where God takes them.

I came to know Jordan well from being involved in the same campus ministry with him at MSU. Jordan easily became a great friend of mine because he was either always cracking a joke about something, performing some cool card trick, or engaging in a knowledgeable discussion about the Bible that constantly left me in awe. The most hilarious moment we probably shared at MSU would have to be when we enrolled in the same college course under a professor who will remain nameless. Throughout the ENTIRE semester, we could count on three fingers how much we learned from the lectures because we had to go and reteach ourselves the material. It is never a dull moment with him, and I am honored to have a small part in one of the biggest moments of his life. Love you bro!

I am Lauren's cousin and arguably her favorite one. When we're not butting heads over violin practicing, we're bonding over books and Bible quizzing. I'm so happy to be a part of my cousin's big day!
